Polygamy

 I belive polygamy should be illegal in the United States.The reasons why Polygamy shouldn’t be legal in the U.S. is that Polygamy leads families for financial problem, it violates  laws of some religions in the U.S. Even though, The Muslim religion permits polygamy, there are different religions who believe marriage is made for only one man and one woman to be united. For example, in orthdox, catholic, and protestant religions. In addition, Polygamy has a negative effect on children getting attention. Even though some kids receive more than enough attention when they live with more than two parents in one house, the one who lives in separate house won’t receive enough support from their parents. Moreover, polygamy can be a problem for a federal income tax in the United States. Calculating polygamous taxpayers income, and for college students to apply finacial aid based on their parents income.

In the other hand polygamy can be advantageous when the male population reduced due to war or sickness; it isn't good for a woman to live life alone. As well, Islam religion permit Polygamy considering orphans and widows and to avoid cheating. The advantages of polygamy marriage is that if a man has more than one wife in one house, the wives can help each other raising their childrens, and household dutities.Also,when their husband  annoy them, they can always tell him to go away, and at least they will know where he is gone and that he will come back.
